A personal favourite, this Autobiography of Tyler Hamilton documents the true of one of the biggest sporting scandals of all time. He was a teammate and friend of Lance Armstrong during his 7 Tour De France wins which he was later stripped of for doping. The book gives an eye-opening view of the length that they went to in order to avoid being caught and how ruthless Lance Armstrong was in his pursuit for glory. Another gripping book about one of the most controversial times in cycling’s history.

Gino's Italian Express (Hardback)

Being stuck in lockdown means we have a lot of time so why not combine cooking the best cuisine in the world with one of my favourite chefs: Gino D’Acampo. His new cookbook contains over 80 new easy to make Italian food recipes that would be perfect to practise making during lockdown ready for all the dinner parties and catch ups with friends once all this is over!

The Official Highway Code (Paperback)

Have you always made excuses and said you haven’t got time to learn to drive? Well now’s the time. Lockdown means you have more free time than ever before so why not spend 10 minutes a day to learn your driving theory so you can learn to drive after lockdown. It’s a small task that will help you massively and benefit your professional career after graduation!

These eight books are just some of my personal favourites and must reads for all students to keep you entertained and motivated to work hard, ready to pursue our dreams after graduation.
