You now have this music career, but what did you study at university? I studied Economics, Finance and International Business at Oxford Brooke's University. Total opposites but I can do both luckily.
So for someone who is studying something completely different to what they might want to do for their career, what advice would you give them? That would entirely depend on their situation. People react differently to the same situation. But one thing is for sure, if you aim to achieve anything in life you have to be determined and don’t stop till you get what you want… and if turns out to be the wrong thing, then look for something better and go get that.
Apart from music is there anything else that you are working on? I am currently working on a Start-Up company, I plan to launch sometime in the future. I’ll tell you all about it at the launch. It’s very top secret.
Would you say that you were a luxury student at university? I wouldn’t really say that. I did what I could with what I had and maintained my standard.
What do you think is the definition of luxury? What’s your concept of luxury? I think Luxury is a state of comfort, luxury is definitely something that everybody wants but only few have. My concept of luxury is not in the nature of luxury itself, it’s more in the little things like having a good laugh with the squad.
What is the most luxurious thing you’ve bought? I’m having a hard time deciding which is the most luxurious item, but maybe my Balmain coat.
What’s the least luxurious thing you've bought that has given you that equal satisfaction?I went grocery shopping yesterday at Sainsbury and saw this storm trooper tee for £10. That made me satisfied because my cheapest black tees are £19.99.
Who inspires you the most these days? It’s hard to be truly inspired these days because something or someone is always trying to ruin the vibe. But my main inspiration is the journey I am currently on. The journey to be heard and accepted. That been said all of close friends inspire different songs and sounds.
If there was one thing you think a man needs to have with himself that makes his luxury, what would it be? You need a good watch. I can’t stress how important that is. It took me a long time looking for a good watch I liked, I finally got an apple watch, I’m almost bored of it but it’s an efficient time teller and I’m grateful for that.
So where do you see yourself in 5 years time? Somewhere out the country performing to the biggest crowd of all time. Creating that natural energy and influencing the generation under us correctly.
